Bull picks up Madness WCC Player of the Week honor

In addition to her West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week nod, McKenna Bull was named the Madness WCC Softball Player of the Week for the second time this season after her strong play last week.

This is the third Madness WCC Player of the Week honor for BYU this season. Bull also picked up the award in March and Libby Sugg won back in February.

No. 3 BYU heads to UC Santa Barbara for regular-season finale

PROVO, Utah – No. 3 BYU men’s volleyball hits the road for one last time in the regular season, facing UC Santa Barbara for two matches Thursday and Friday.

The Cougars (21-3, 14-2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) need to win both matches, or at least one, while having No. 1 Long Beach State (23-3, 15-2 MPSF) drop its regular-season finale against No. 14 CSUN, to clinch a share of the regular-season conference title.

Kringlen gets WCC, national Player of the Week nods

PROVO, Utah – Sophomore outfielder Keaton Kringlen was named Player of the Week by the West Coast Conference and national source BaseballNews.com on Monday.

Kringlen brought home the honors after hitting .571 (8 for 14) in four games with four home runs and 14 RBIs. During the week, BYU went 4-0, with a win against Utah and a three-game sweep of West Coast Conference foe Saint Mary's.

Open Training for local coaches at BYU on Wednesday

PROVO, Utah – BYU is one of more than 200 professional and college soccer programs that will partcipate in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Open Training Week.

The Cougars will hold their open training on Wednesday, April 5 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Haws Field. Local coaches are welcome to attend this free event, which is designed to give them an opportunity to observe Jennifer Rockwood's staff and team's high-caliber training, learn from one another and unite around the love of soccer.

Alldredge, Bull take WCC weekly awards

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the third time this season, BYU softball swept the WCC weekly awards with Caitlyn Larsen Alldredge winning player of the week and McKenna Bull taking pitcher of the week.

SEATTLE — For the first time in 12 years, BYU gymnastics scored above a 195.000 at NCAA Regionals as they finished in fifth place with a 195.025 at the Alaska Airlines Arena Saturday night.

“Our team fought really hard and did what we do in practice,” BYU head coach Guard Young said. “We’re leaving this regional with good momentum and a great trajectory for the program.”
