Angela Baxter joined the staff at the Student-Athlete Academic Center as an academic advisor to the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams in August 2013. She returns to a position she previously held from 1996-1999. Angela is a former All-American sprinter for the Cougars and held the 200 meters school for 26 years. She hails from Glasgow, Scotland, and competed internationally, including multiple Olympic trials. She spent several years coaching track and field at the high school level and was girl’s head coach at Timpview High School in Provo. Angela graduated from BYU with a degree in health promotion. She is married to Kurt Baxter, and they are the parents of five children.
