Helped BYU defense rank No. 24 in total defense in 2010 and win the New Mexico Bowl for the team's fourth win in the past five seasons ... as recruiting coach, helped bring in the No. 22-ranked recruiting class in the nation in 2009 ... guided Eastern Arizona to its first winning season in 26 years just two years after taking over the program ... while he was defensive coordinator at Snow, the team won the NJCAA National Championship in 1985 with an 11-0 record.
