Jake Ellison enters his second season as assistant coach of the BYU golf program. As a senior for BYU, he was an integral part of the Cougars MWC championship run. Upon graduating from BYU with a bachelor of science in 2007, Ellison entered several professional tournaments, capturing seven victories, including the 2009 Idaho Open. He also organized golf clinics at BYU and Oklahoma State and served as an assitant to Greg Bohls at Centennial High school. In February of 2009, Ellison was named to the MWC 10th anniversary mens golf team, which honored the 10-best players in conference history. Ellison served a two-year LDS mission to Taipei, Tawaiin. Ellison and his wife Kathryn have one son and one daughter.
