Closing a season for the BYU record books, the BYU Cougars fell to the reigning national champion University of Connecticut.
The UConn Huskies came back after an impressive first half by BYU to win 70-51 in the NCAAW Sweet Sixteen.
The six-point lead that the 12-seed Cougars held midway through the first half is the most any team has led top-ranked UConn all season. The 19-point deficit at the final buzzer was still far under the average 30-plus point victory margin for the Huskies this season. The Cougars' impressive team effort and tenacious play garnered the attention of media outlets across the nation.
Coach Jeff Judkins and seniors Jennifer Hamson and Kim Beeston share their thoughts on the loss.
