Interviews
Player and coaches interviews must be scheduled through Kenny Cox in the Athletic Media Relations office at (801) 422-8948 or kenny_cox@byu.edu. Interview requests must be made 24 hours in advance unless it is breaking news. Telephone interviews must be arranged through the Athletic Media Relations office.
 

Media Services
A weekly release will be issued via e-mail and will be available at www.byucougars.com. Notes, season statistics, rosters, programs, etc. will be provided to working media prior to each home event. Official statistics will be made available after each event. The head coach and several players will be made available for post-event interviews.

 

Media Work Room
A pressroom is just off the playing floor at the Marriott Center. Analog phone lines are available for filing stories. Collect or credit card long distance calls can be made from each of these lines.

 

Broadcast Phone Lines
Phone lines for live broadcasts are available for visiting radio. Please call in advance to verify your broadcast needs. Broadcasts other than the visiting regular radio may require additional phone lines to be installed. Such requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.

 

BYU on the Internet
The weekly release, most up-to-date news, statistics and information is available 24 hours a day on BYU's official athletics website - www.byucougars.com. To receive the weekly release and post-event recaps via email please contact the media relations office.

 

Credential Requests
Requests for press, broadcast and photo credentials for home events should be made in writing. Requests should be directed to:

Reporters representing papers with daily or next-day editions, national magazines, wire services, live television and radio broadcasts and television and radio stations covering for nightly news shall be given priority. Spouses, dates, non-workers and children are not allowed in the working media areas.

 

Photography
Credentials will be issued only to accredited photographers and TV reporters/camera operators on assignment from their media outlet. Photographers can obtain rosters and information regarding where they can shoot during the event from the media relations staff on site.

 

Parking
Parking is free to media. No parking pass is required unless the event begins before 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please contact the Athletic Media Relations office to obtain a parking pass for an afternoon event. Parking is available in the lot immediately north of the Marriott Center.
