The surface is all grass and track, with 70 - 80% of the course on grass. All pathways near the baseball field are covered so that competitors can wear spikes. The finish of the races will be at the main finish line in front of the grandstand. The features of the complex include: seating for 3000+ spectators with a view of 70% of the course, the scoreboard, sound system, full bathrooms and concessions.
Spikes: Spikes are allowed, but will be limited to 1/4" pyramids. No needle or Christmas tree spikes so as to preserve the track.
Timing: Timing and results will be provided by RunnerCard. The timing for this year will feature transponder timing. We will collect times at the completion of each lap as the runners cross the finish line, which will be a one mile split and two mile split, in addition to the final time. Each finisher will receive a personal RunnerCard at the end of the race. Results will be posted on RunnerCard.com that same day.
