I chose gymnastics over other sports because: it was addicting when I was a kid. I like flipping around and being able to perform in front of people.
Before a meet I: Take a long nap and relax by watching TV, reading or going for a walk.
How did I spend my off-season: Running, lifting weights, wakeboarding and enjoying the summer fun out on the boat.
Who has had the greatest influence on my gymnastics career and why: My club coach, Hayk Meltonian because he coached me ever since I was a little girl until I came to college. My beam coach here at BYU, Shauna Mertz, because she believed in me my freshmen year and made me confident on the beam.
What do I want to be doing 20 years from now: Enjoy being a mom and playing with my kids.
Who is the best gymnast/team I have ever faced: All the collegiate teams at NCAA Nationals last season (2005). Those were the best of the best and many of the girls were ex-Olympians.
What would I like to do sometime in my life: Overcome my fear of heights.
One place I would like to visit: All of Europe
My favorite book is: The Da Vinci Code
If I could play another sport it would be: Soccer or volleyball
People say I look like: my Mom...we are twins!
My favorite professor or most interesting class I've taken at BYU: Drawing. I love art. I wish I had more time to take art classes.
What is my most memorable athletic achievement or moment: Making it to Nationals last season with the team and getting a 9.9 on beam at our first home meet last season.
If I had to give up all of my possessions except one, what would be the one thing I kept: my photo album.
My favorite web site is: The only three websites I really use are byu.edu for school, hotmail.com for email and wamu.com to check my bank account.
My advice to youngsters: Don't let anything or anybody hold you back. If you really want to do something then do it. It's that simple!
Interesting fact most people don't know about me: I am the youngest of six, I am an aunt of five and I'm getting married in June.
If I were on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," the person I'd call for my lifeline is and why: My dad because he is always the person I go to if I have an important question.
If I were hosting you on a recruiting visit to Provo, the most impressive thing I'd have to show you is: the mountains.
If you could invite any three people to dinner who would they be: Will Ferrell, Jim Carey and Tracy Morgan because it would be the most entertaining dinner. I would just laugh at them the whole time.
On the day of a meet, how do your friends and relatives follow the meet: They come and watch me if they can. Otherwise they will watch it on TV if it's being televised, or they will watch it on the internet or watch the live stats that come up on the internet.
