Favorite cold cereal: I love all cereal, pretty much my favorite food of all time. I'm an especially big fan of Lucky Charms.
Favorite Brad Cattermole quote: so many to choose from! The most recent is that "we are acting like a bunch of "Jellyheads", whatever that means.
I chose gymnastics over other sports because: It is the only sport than combines total mental and physical effort, along with a fear factor that what you're doing is kind of dangerous.
Before a meet I: take a nap and eat almonds.
How did I spend my off-season: Backpacking through Europe and working out of course.
Who has had the greatest influence on my gymnastics career and why: That is a tough one. Gymnastics has always been my sport because no one else in my family has done it. Maybe my club coaches who were always trying to convince me that I was better than I thought I was, both in and out of the gym.
What do I want to be doing 20 years from now: Raising a family. Also I want to be outdoors and playing sports with my kids.
Who is the best gymnast/team I have ever faced: U of U
What would I like to do sometime in my life: Participate in a triathlon.
One place I would like to visit: Samoa

If I could play another sport it would be: Soccer
What is my favorite hobby or activity away from gymnastics: Hah! Away from gymnastics! I do really like to camp.

My favorite professor or most interesting class I've taken at BYU: Brother Bott, my religion teacher.
What is my most memorable athletic achievement or moment: Being on the 2004 team was a really special thing. Maybe scoring a 9.95 on floor last year against the year, it's a good feeling being so close to perfection and knowing it when you get off of the floor.
If I had to give up all of my possessions except one, what would be the one thing I kept: My favorite sweatshirt, or maybe my dog. Can I keep two?

My advice to youngsters: The best way to become better than you ever thought is to work your hardest everyday. You can never have any regrets when you are giving it all that you've got.
Interesting fact most people don't know about me: I was afraid of the dark until I was about 17.
