PROVO -- The defending Mountain West Conference Champion BYU women’s soccer team has announced their spring schedule, featuring three tournaments and games against some of the top soccer programs in the nation, including LSU, Texas A&M and Washington State, all teams that advanced to the NCAA College Cup in 2008.
The spring schedule will kick off with the BYU Spring Indoor tournament, which will take place Saturday, Feb. 28 in the Indoor Practice Facility located on the campus of Brigham Young University. BYU will face off against Idaho State at 1:30 p.m., Utah State at 4:30 p.m., and UVU at 8:30 p.m. Admission to all games is free of charge.
The team will then next take the pitch March 7 at the Arizona State Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. BYU will then face LSU and Texas A&M on April 4 in College Station, Texas. The spring schedule will be rounded out with the BYU Spring Outdoor Tournament. Teams and times for the tournament are still being finalized.
