Name: Karen Cook

Who is your favorite athlete? John Stockton.

How old were you when you starting playing soccer? Seven years old.

What has been the highlight of your athletic career? Coming to BYU.

Where was the toughest place you've ever competed? Being able to go to BYU.

Who are the first people you call after a game? My parents.

What is the one movie you must have in your movie collection? Father of the Bride, Part 2.

If you could be any character on any TV show, who would you be? One of the Ninja Turtles!

If you could meet any person living or dead, who would it be? President Hinckley.

What is your pet peeve? When people leave their blinkers on.

What is your nickname? "Kayno", "Cookie"

What words or phrases do you use way too much? "My eye", "Good heck", "Blast"

What is your favorite thing about BYU in general? The atmosphere.

JUNIOR - (2007): Played in 10 games in a season shortened by injury ... started the first eight games of the season ... recorded a season-high five shots against Long Beach State ... suffered high ankle sprain on Sept. 22 against Cal Poly, and sat out the rest of the regular season ... returned to play in the first two rounds of the MWC Tournament.

SOPHOMORE - (2006): Started in all 20 games ... Took 19 shots on the season ... Took two shots in back-to-back victories over No. 21 Colorado and Fresno State ... Shot the ball three times against Utah State and twice against San Francisco ... Scored final goal in a 3-0 victory over Wyoming ... Took two shots against New Mexico ... Part of defense that only allowed 11 goals on the season.

FRESHMAN - (2005): Played in 11 games ... Took shots against Denver and Weber State ... Played in wins against George Mason, Hawaii, Weber State, Utah State, Wisconsin, Arizona State, TCU, Air Force and Denver.

Named to Deseret News 5A All-State First Team ... Named Alta's Most Valuable Defender in 2004 ... Member of Alta varsity soccer team that finished No. 18 in the nation in 2004 ...
