The Irish defeated four ranked teams in five days last week, including No. 12 Northwestern. Northwestern defeated the Cougars 8-1 last week in a dual match at Northwestern. Besides the 6-3 win over Northwestern, Notre Dame defeated No. 21 Kentucky, No. 33 Ohio State and No. 36 Iowa.
