PROVO -- Six-time soccer All-American and one-time track All-American Shauna Rohbock will be competing in the 2010 Winter Olympics as a bobsled driver in Vancouver beginning this Friday, February 12.

Rohbock played for the BYU women's soccer team between 1995-98 where she helped bring the Cougar squad into the Mountain West Conference and is currently No. 3 in the NCAA Division I for number of goals scored in a single season. She played in 90 games in her career, netting 95 goals.

As a heptathlon athlete for the BYU track team, Rohbock was named an All-American after her first year on the team and currently holds the BYU record for the second best outdoor total in the heptathlon.

In the 2006 Olympics, Rohbock and her sledmate won the silver medal for the United States in the two-woman bobsled, finishing just 0.71 seconds behind the German team. Rohbock began her bobsled career as a brakewoman before becoming a driver, the position she currently holds.

The two-woman bobsled competition will be held on February 23 and 24. For more information, visit the 2010 Winter Olympics site.
