Fans of the BYU women’s volleyball team will have unprecedented access to the Cougars this year. BYU will play six televised matches this year and will have four matches broadcast on the radio in addition to Internet video and live stats streaming options. See below for additional information.
BYU-TV will broadcast six women’s volleyball matches in 2009 with Jarom Jordan and Amy Gant doing the calling. Through BYU-TV, BYU athletics can be viewed in more than 40 million homes and locally on KBYU Channel 11. BYU-TV is available on the Dish Network, DirecTV and some cable stations. At least four matches will also be broadcast on BYU Radio, available via satellite and over the Internet.
BYU will provide live stats via GameTracker of all Cougar home matches via its website at www.byucougars.com/volleyball_w/. GameTracker provides constantly updating live stats, including individual performances and team totals. A play-by-play account allows fans to follow the match as it progresses. Similar webcasts provided by BYU opponents of their home matches will be promoted the week of the match and a link made available on the women’s volleyball schedule page at www.byucougars.com.
