PROVO -- BYU fans hoping to catch this week's women's volleyball action against UNLV on Saturday night have several options in their quest to follow the Cougars. With the advent of new technology and a partnership with College Sports Television (CSTV), BYU faithful will be able to follow the match online, on television or via live stats.
BYU and CSTV are in the final stages of establishing a partnership that will create live internet video streaming via CSTV's All-Access package for approximately 80 events in seven different sports, including soccer, men's and women's volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, softball and women's basketball. Set to launch during the first part of November, the package could be expanded to include men's basketball and football as early as next fall.
This Saturday's match provides fans an opportunity to test CSTV All-Access through the Mountain West Conference, which will stream the match live on its website at www.themwc.com. Once on the MWC homepage, just click on the video tab located on the right hand side of the page.
The 7 p.m. match will also be broadcast tape-delayed on CSTV, airing Sunday at 4 p.m. MST. CSTV is carried locally on Provo Cable (channel 39) and on DirecTV (channel 610).
As with all BYU women's volleyball home matches, live stats are available by going to the schedule page of the BYU Women's Volleyball homepage at http://www.byucougars.com/volleyball_w/.
