All-American Chelsea Goodman earned recognition with a 3.14 GPA in the School Health major. All-MWC selection and Clothing Design major Rachel Dyer was named to the team with a 3.65 GPA. Amy Schlauder (3.68, Teaching Social Sciences), Annie Kemp Pinegar (3.62, Elementary Education), Janvier Beaumont (3.40, Home and Family Living), Bryn Porter (3.39, Art History and Curatorial Studies), Jenna Judkins (3.21, School Health Education) and Kim Wilson Sorensen (3.15, Community Health) rounded out the women's volleyball selections.
The 10 volleyball aces were part of an MWC-high 89 athletes selected from BYU, more than double the number from any other school in the conference. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
