PROVO -- BYU freshman wide receiver Ross Apo suffered an open dislocation of his left index finger on Wednesday that required surgery. He is expected to be out approximately six weeks but will work to come back as soon as possible.

The 6-foot-3 Arlington, Texas, native underwent surgery Wednesday evening after suffering the injury during the team’s practice that evening. Apo is a true freshman out of The Oakridge School.
