Katie Larkin – Soccer – Senior – Draper, Utah
Larkin scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season in the 56th minute of BYU’s 3-0 win over Air Force. She constantly applied pressure on Air Force’s defense with three shots on goal, and brought her points total to a team-leading 17. She was consistently double-teamed, opening opportunities for other teammates to score. Her goal gave her 34 goals, putting her just two goals out of fifth-place in goals scored all-time at BYU. With her last two shots in the game, she totaled 252 in her career so far, moving her into fourth-place all-time at BYU in shots taken.
Andrea Willis – Soccer – Junior – Riverside, Calif.
Willis’ strong play helped BYU limit Air Force to only two shots in the entire game, and held them without a shot through the first 77 minutes. The Falcons did not record a shot on goal. Willis and the Cougar defense combined for their tenth shutout of the year, the sixth at home, and the fifth in conference play in 2008. The two shots is the least Air Force has had in 2008, and the least amount of shots allowed by the Cougars this year as well.

Max Hall – Football – Junior – Mesa, Ariz.
All-American candidate Max Hall converted 24-of-31 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 17 BYU to a 42-35 victory over UNLV on Saturday. The 6-foot-1, 201-pound native of Mesa, Ariz., also had three rushes for 37 yards on the day.
Hall got BYU off to a quick start in the first quarter, completing a perfect 8-8 passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns — giving the Cougars a 14-7 first-quarter lead. Six of Hall’s eight first-quarter completions resulted in first downs.
Down 35-34 with just 6:40 remaining to play in the game, Hall took over. Starting at the UNLV 26-yard line, Hall marched the Cougars 74 yards in 11 plays for the winning score — a 6-yard pass to Dennis Pitta with 1:47 remaining in the game. On the next play he connected with Harvey Unga on a 3-yard pass for the two-point conversion to give BYU a 42-35 victory. On winning the drive, Hall completed 8-of-8 passes for 59 yards, including four completions for first downs. He also rushed the ball once for a 6-yard gain.
On the day, BYU was successful on 7-of-11 third-down conversions. One was a Hall run of 30 yards, and five were pass completions of 10, 12, 13, 20, and 30 yards. Hall accounted for 282 of BYU’s 454 yards of total offense (62 percent).
Hall was also named MWC Player of the Week for the third time this season.
Austin Collie – Football – Junior – El Dorado Hills, Calif.
For the sixth-straight game, wide receiver Austin Collie had more than 100-yards receiving. The All-American candidate had seven receptions for 113 yards in a 42-35 victory over UNLV. Five of Collie’s seven receptions converted first downs for BYU.
Collie’s six-consecutive 100-yard receiving games breaks the MWC record of five set by J.R. Tolver of SDSU in 2002. It is also a BYU record.
In addition to his play at wide receiver, Collie had two kickoff returns against the Rebels. The 6-foot-2, 206-pound junior took the opening kickoff and returned it 75 yards to the UNLV 25 yard line. Five plays later Max Hall hooked up with tight end Andrew George for an 8-yard touchdown and the early lead. On the day, Collie returned two kickoffs for 94 yards, which gave him 207 all-purpose yards.
Matt Bauman – Football – Junior – Salt Lake City, Utah
Junior linebacker Matt Bauman came up big for the Cougars against UNLV on Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 232-pound linebacker recorded a game-high 13 tackles (four solo and 8 assisted) in a 42-35 victory over the Rebels.
On the year, Bauman leads the Cougars in several defensive categories including: unassisted tackles (31), assisted tackles (37) and total tackles (68). He also has eight tackles for loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery.
