Jimmer Fredette - Men's Basketball - Sophomore - Glens Falls, NY

At Utah:

Jimmer Fredette posted the first double-double of his career with 21 points and a career-best 10 assists. He added four rebounds, one block and two steals.

Vs. Wyoming:

Shot 11-of-14 from the field and 4-of-6 from downtown for a career-high 28 points. Added four assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Mat Taylor - Men's Volleyball - Junior - Orem, UT

With 26 kills against UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 31, Taylor broke his

previous career high (22 against Hawaii, Jan. 22) with an impressive .

429 hitting percentage. Prior to this season Taylor’s career high in

kills was seven. He has set new career highs in that category four

times so far this season. Taylor has led the team in kills in four of

the last five matches.

Katie Palmer - Women's Track - Sophomore - Boulder City, NV

Sophomore, Katie Palmer was a first team All-American in the distance medley relay in 2008, but eclipsed last years All-American performance at the UW Invitational on Saturday by more than four seconds. This years relay team of Palmer, freshmen Natalie Stewart and Lacey Cramer and junior All-American Angela Wagner combined for a time of 11:06.55 in the distance medley relay, which currently ranks first in the BYU and Mountain West Conference record books and is also an NCAA automatic qualifying mark. Palmers performance in the 800-meter (2:05.96) is an NCAA provisional qualifying mark, currently ranking No. 3 in the nation and placing her second on the MWC and BYU all-time list.
