Former BYU All-American and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie has distinguished himself as one of the top two first-year receivers in the National Football League in 2009.

Pro Football Weekly, along with the Professional Football Writers of America, selected Collie and Florida alumnus Percy Harvin of the Minnesota Vikings as the two receivers on their 2009 All-Rookie team. Collie and Harvin were also picked as the NFL's top two rookie wideouts by the Sporting News.

Collie totaled 676 yards and seven touchdowns on 60 receptions in the regular season while helping the Colts earn the AFC's top record at 14-2. His 60 receptions led all rookies along with Harvin, and Collie's seven scoring catches was more than any other first-year player. Including last week's playoff victory, Collie has 64 catches and eight touchdowns, both tops among rookies, for 728 yards while helping the Colts earn a date with the New York Jets in Sunday's AFC Championship game.

The El Dorado Hills, Calif., native led the NCAA in receiving as a junior at BYU in 2008 before being drafted by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Collie was the 127th overall selection in last year’s draft and the the 19th receiver selected, while Harvin was taken in the first round as the fourth receiver and 22nd overall pick of the draft. Harvin, who has helped Minnesota reach Sunday's NFC Championship game, was also named the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Collie has proven an effective target for Peyton Manning, who was voted the NFL's Most Valuable Player by Pro Football Weekly and the PFWA. Listed below is the PFW/PFWA All-NFL and All-Rookie teams, which were voted on by PFWA members and Pro Football Weekly editors. The Sporting News All-Rookie team, determined by Sporting News writers, editors and correspondents, is also included below.
