PORTSMOUTH -- Lee Cummard averaged 7.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. He led all players in three-point shooting at 60.0 percent.
In Cummard's final game he posted five points, nine rebounds and five assists as the Norfolk Sport Club fell to K&D Rounds Landscaping in the consolation bracket final on Saturday.
Cummard helped lead the Norfolk Sports Club to an 88-77 victory over the Portsmouth Sports Club on Friday to advance to the title game of the consolation bracket.
Reminiscent of his days as a Cougar, Cummard filled the stat sheet for the Norfolk Sports Club, scoring 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting to go with six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal. He hit his only attempt from downtown and was 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
On day one of the tournament Cummard’s team fell 89-74 to Cherry, Bakaert & Holland. He finished with five points, six boards and two steals.
The Norfolk Sports Club will play K&D Rounds Landscaping on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET in the final game of the consolation bracket.
