On a night that included numerous highlight reel dunks and alley-oops, Fredette and former BYU teammate Jackson Emery teamed up for the last time on the Marriott Center floor. Both received standing ovations when introduced before the game and when their former coach Dave Rose subbed them out late in the game.

Fredette was the 2011 National Player of the Year as the recipient of the Wooden Award and the Naismith Trophy. He was selected 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks and then traded to the Sacramento Kings.

Nolan Smith finished with game highs of 30 points and 13 assists for Team Fredette. Kenneth Faried, the NCAA’s leading rebounder in 2010-11, added 23 points, 17 boards and three blocks for Team Fredette.

Kawhi Leonard led his squad with 24 points and 10 boards. Tobias Harris added 24 points, six boards and four steals and NCAA Final Four MVP Kemba Walker had 23 points and six boards.
