Zac Blair finishes tied for 19th

El PASO, Texas -- Senior Zac Blair shot a final round 73 (+2) to finish the Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic tied for 19th place, Tuesday.

Competing against some of the nation's top collegiate golfers, Blair struggled early during the final round. Despite shooting two bogeys and one double bogey during the opening nine holes, Blair found his groove birdying three of his final eight holes. 

Blair finished with a 54-hole-total 212 (-1) after shooting rounds of 66, 73 and 73 during the tournament to tie with Joseph Winslow of Iowa.

Kevin Penner of UNLV won the tournament at 14-under-par, one stroke better than Sebastian Cappelen of Arkansas. Penner shot a 54-hole-total 199, converting 15 birdies over the course of the tournament.

The BYU men's golf team will return to action on Feb. 20th at the John H. Burns Invitational in Kahuku, Hawaii.
