Twenty-one swim and dive student-athletes earn MPSF All-Conference awards

PROVO, Utah – BYU had 21 swimmers and divers earn Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Conference awards after their performance at the MPSF Championship in Monterey Park and Pasadena, California.

Senior captain Preston Jenkins led the team with four honors, three first-team and one second-team mark. Sophomore Nathan Gonzales followed with first-team awards in all three diving events. Freshman swimmer Brad Prolo, sophomore swimmer Levi Jensen, freshman diver Elizabeth Holmes and senior diver Matt Denkers all earned one first-team award and two second-team awards.

Teams are determined by the place finished in the MPSF Championships individual and relay events. The top three finishers in each individual event earn first-team All-Conference as well as the first-place relay team. Second-team honors are awarded to the fourth through eighth finishers and the second and third relay teams.
