BYU set to host four games this week, with home opener on Tuesday against Maine

PROVO, Utah — BYU softball will host the University of Maine in its home opener on Tuesday, March 15 at 5 p.m. MDT. The Cougars will also be hosting Idaho State University and Southern Utah University this week on Friday and Saturday, respectively. 

BYU softball hasn't played a game on Gail Miller Field since May 10, 2021.

Maine – Tuesday, March 15

The Black Bears are 2-12 on the season, with wins against Georgia Southern University (14-4) and SUU (7-4). BYU has a 5-0 all-time record against Maine.

Idaho State – Thursday, March 17

The Bengals are 12-13 on the season. ISU previously lost to Grand Canyon University twice this year, with 7-3 and 2-1 defeats. BYU also lost to GCU 2-1 in the Sun Devil Classic last week. The Cougars are 12-1 against Idaho State on Gail Miller Field.
