LOGAN, Utah – Junior Shannon Evans shared Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Vault Specialist of the Week honors after her performance at Utah State.
Evans scored a 9.875 on vault as she shared the honor with Boise State's Sarah Means. The captain won the individual title at the meet as she went on to score a 39.125 in the all-around. Her score tied her career-best that was previously set in 2017.
In the first week of competition, Evans earned Bars and Floor Specialist of the Week honors.
The Cougars will host Utah State on Friday, Jan. 25, for the annual Kids Meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. MST and will be televised on BYUtv.
