Kent State has posted some very impressive scores already this season, topping Sacramento State by a significant margin, 195.475-189.625 last weekend at the Lady Luck Invitational. BYU’s all-time record with KSU is 1-3.

Fans will be watching to see what Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week, Lindsay Runyan as she competes on uneven bars as she is currently ranked the 12th best gymnast in the country on the event with an average score of 9.900.

"Brigham Young is a team that's gone to nationals before,” Kent State head coach Brice Biggin said of BYU in a press release this week. “And we haven't seen (them) for a little while. They're got a good reputation, history and tradition."

George Washington will also provide solid competition for the Cougars coming into the meet with a 5-1 record, their only loss coming against No. 25 North Carolina.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh comes into the meet with a 2-2 record thus far in Division III competition.
