  • In 2010 he was first-team all-state, with eight wins and a 1.66 ERA
  • Started on the mound for the Colts as junior, and played for the Utah Bucks traveling team and the Angels Elite Scout Team
  • Three-time all-region
  • Recruited by Cal State Fullerton, Stanford and Baylor
  • Closed the 2008 State championship game against Dixie and current Cougar Chunner Nyberg

  • Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America squad by Collegiate Baseball Magazine
  • His victories came at Portland, at Creighton, Utah Valley, Seattle, at Air Force Academy and against San Diego State in the Mountain West Conference Tournament
  • Save came in the 6-4 upset at No. 6 Arizona State
  • Struck out eight in six innings at AFA and eight in six innings vs. SDSU
  • Won BYU baseballs annual Y Mountain run in November 2010 in 14:37
