At Union High School
- As a senior averaged 20.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals while Union finished 21-8 overall, 10-1 in league play and took third in the 4A state tournament
- Named the Gatorade Washington Boys Basketball Player of the Year, MVP of the state tournament
- As a junior averaged 20 points per game
- Earned All-Greater St. Helens League honors
- As a junior, helped lead Union to the regional playoffs
- Ranked No. 2 in his class in the state of Washington
- Played for the Seattle Rotary during the AAU season
