Prepped at Osburn High and competed for the Capital Gymnastics National Training Center...coached by Tatiana Perskaia, Galina Meliakena and Victor Vetrov at Capital honor graduate at Osbourn High School...A Level 10 competitor...1995 Virginia State all-around and vault champion and 1996 floor and vault champion...1995 Regional third all-around, fourth bars and fifth vault and 1996 fourth all-around, third vault and fifth bars...1994 Junior Olympics Nationals 17th all-around and Buckeye Classic ninth bars...1996 Spence Invitational champion on vault, second all-around and floor and fourth bars...1997 Go For It Classic second floor, sixth bars and fourth vault.
