Before BYU:
- Won four varsity letters while splitting her high school career at Northridge HS and Woods Cross HS
- Finished her prep days at Woods Cross
- Was an all-region and four-time all-state selection in soccer and a state champion in track and field
- Is an excellent athlete, who was all-state in softball and competed in basketball
- Was featured in "Faces in the Crowd" in Sports Illustrated (July 13, 2009) after striking out 12 batters in softball and then two days later winning the 100m, 100m and 300m hurdles and running a leg on the winning 4x100 relay in track and field
- Was a two-time national team player pool participant in 2007 and 2008, who attended the 2007 adidas ESP camp
- Played on the State and Regional ODP clubs
- Named a 2008 NSCAA Youth all-region performer
- Played for the Utah Avalanche
