BYU football is a great place to launch an NFL career. Over the past 27 years BYU has had 68 players taken in the NFL Draft, including 23 from 2000-2011. BYU also had has 11 first-round draft picks. Forty former Cougars have played or coached in the Super Bowl over the years. This year 16 former Cougars are on NFL rosters. BYU has had a player drafted in 18 of the past 20 NFL drafts and had four players sign free agent contracts (Daniel Sorensen, Spencer Hadley, Eathyn Manumaleuna and Cody Hoffman) in 2014.
