BYU football is a great place to launch an NFL career. Over the past 30 years BYU has had 79 players taken in the NFL Draft, including 20 from 200-2010. BYU also had has nine first-round draft picks. Three Cougars played in last year's Super Bowl and 40 former Cougars have played or coached in the Super Bowl over the years. This year 24 former Cougars are on 17 NFL rosters, which is one of the most by any college team in the West once again. BYU has had a player drafted in 16 of the past 17 NFL drafts and had three players (Andrew Rich, Jason Speredon, Vic So'oto) sign rookie free agent deals in 2011.
