2008-Present
Here in the United States, Vinci has worked with the BYU mens and womens volleyball teams, as well as USA Volleyball. He's currently a student at BYU and is double majoring in Recreation Management and Italian, also minoring in Music.
He is a native of Milan, Italy, and is the son of Francesca and has sisters Deborah, Alessia, Angelica and Ombretta.
-Vinci began working with the sport of volleyball in a small club called Pallavolo Casteggio as manager and then assistant coach as a 13-year-old. In this club he worked with various teams, one of which won a championship and advanced into the regional category. He has worked with both the mens and womens Division II Italian Professional teams.
-He was an assistant coach with the Mens Junior National Team at the 2009 FIBA World Championships in India.
-Worked in both Divisions I and II in both men's and women's Italian professional volleyball leagues winning the Italian Cup in 2007
-Went to the Olympics with the Italian Olympic National team where they placed 4th. The team also participated in all of the main international competitions such as the World League and European Championship.
-With USA volleyball, Vinci was assistant coach in 2009 for the Junior World Championships in India and was also a Scout coach for the USA women's national team that participated to the 2010 World Championship in Japan (4th place) and 2011 World Cup in Japan (2nd place). Vinici will also be participating in the 2012 London Olympics with the same team
