FOOTBALL FACILITIES
LaVell Edwards Stadium, with its 63,470-seat capacity, video scoreboards and immaculate press boxes, is home to legendary BYU football.
Originally known as Cougar Stadium, the stadium was renamed with the retirement of legendary head football coach LaVell Edwards at the conclusion of the 2000 season.
Edwards Stadium was built in 1964 with a seating capacity of 45,000 (including temporary bleachers placed at each of the end zones). As a result of increased seating demands, BYU made another renovation in 1982, adding stands to the north and south end zones, lowering the field eight feet and removing the track surrounding the field (home to the 1967 and 1975 NCAA Track and Field Championships).
BASKETBALL FACILITIES
BYU's 17,987-seat basketball arena is truly a hoop heaven. There is no place quite like it in college basketball. Since the facility's opening game on Dec. 3, 1971, the Marriott Center has been home to the thrills and cheers of BYU basketball. With a history full of game-winning shots, slam dunks and some of the nation's top attendance marks, the Marriott Center's 18,987 seats have allowed BYU fans to see plenty of excitement and quality college basketball. The Marriott Center is named for successful Utah businessman J. Willard Marriott and has the 10th-largest capacity in college basketball.
BASEBALL FACILITIES
Miller Park has been home to BYU baseball since it opened in 2001. Designed as a unique baseball-softball back-to-back complex, BYU baseball plays on Larry H. Miller Field, named after Utah businessman Larry Miller, who owned the Utah Jazz, more than 60 automotive dealerships and a variety of other ventures. The park's blend of engineering ingenuity and scenic beauty are regularly featured in a variety of publications and social media platforms as one of the best settings in collegiate baseball.
VOLLEYBALL FACILITIES
The George Albert Smith Fieldhouse is home to the BYU men's and women's volleyball teams, two of the nation's winningest NCAA volleyball programs, and the BYU women's gymnastics team. The court was officially named Elaine Michaelis Court on Sept. 2, 2005 in honor of legendary BYU women's volleyball coach Elaine Michaelis. The facility has annually hosted the country's top teams and has also been the sight of many NCAA Tournament matches since the inception of the women's competition in 1981.
TRACK FACILITIES
The nationally acclaimed Clarence F. Robison Track is the home of the BYU men's and women's track teams. Coaches and athletes rate BYU's outdoor track as one of the finest in the nation. Its compact design allows spectators to view both running and field competitions at the same venue. With the majestic backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, the Clarence F. Robison Track is a picturesque setting for all events.
SOCCER FACILITIES
Considered one of the toughest places for opponents to play in collegiate soccer, South Field was the top home venue in college women's soccer in terms of attendance per game (2,945) in 2019. BYU broke program records for single game attendance in 2017 when it hosted No. 1 UCLA (5,735). Since 2012, the Cougars have gone 86-13-9 on South Field.
TENNIS FACILITIES
The Cougars enjoy some of the finest tennis facilities in the country. A one million dollar renovation of the outdoor courts in 1995 gave BYU 14 fully lighted courts with full backdrops. The courts are set in banks of two or four for easy viewing.
The indoor tennis facility was built in 1968 with four regulation-size tennis courts and additional space for folding bleachers. The indoor facility plays host to BYU home matches during winter months and inclement weather. The entire floor area is clear of any support columns or other obstructions. A ceiling height of 40 feet provides ample clearance for the trajectory of tennis balls during play.
SWIMMING & DIVING FACILITIES
The BYU Richards Building pool was renovated and reopened in the fall of 2018. The new facility includes two heated swimming pools with a bulkhead that allows for separation between the diving and swimming areas. The new pool will be the home for the BYU men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
GYMNASTICS FACILITIES

Miller Park, a unique, combined baseball-softball facility, is the home of BYU baseball and softball. Baseball plays on Larry H. Miller Field, while softball calls Gail Miller Field, a back-to-back mirror image of the pre-existing baseball field, home. It is the first combined facility of its kind.
