Parents are Clifford and Sherry...served a mission in the West Indies, French speaking...married Lesli Ellsworth in June, 1989...recruited by Arizona and Utah State...majoring in communications.
Before BYU
Named all-state as a senior and all-region as a junior...lettered twice in football, three times in basketball and three times in track at Olympus High...placed fifth int he long jump at the state track meet and was all-region and all-state in basketball.
1984 | Freshman Year
Played with the junior varsity as a receiver and punter.
1987 | Redshirt Year
Redshirted.
1988 | Sophomore Year
Caught a touchdown pass in the spring game...led JV receivers with 323 yards on 17 receptions and scored two TDs.
1989 | Junior Year
Moved into two-deep during spring drills...started the last nine games of the season...had some great catches against Air Force...was Academic All-WAC.
