Career Summary
Jake Heaps came to BYU ranked the top quarterback in the nation after leading Skyline High School to three consecutive state championships. During his two-year career at BYU, Heaps played in 22 games with 16 starts. He completed 363 of 635 passes for 3,768 yards, 24 touchdowns and 17 interceptions as a Cougar. Heaps set every BYU freshman quarterback record during the 2009 season and was the first freshman to start a bowl game.
