Women’s golf finishes 10th at Hurricane Invitational

BYU women’s golf finished in 10th after 54 holes at the Biltmore Golf Course with rounds of 297-289-295–881, finishing at 17-over-par.

CORAL GABLES, Florida — BYU women’s golf finished in 10th after 54 holes at the Biltmore Golf Course with rounds of 297-289-295–881, finishing at 17-over-par. 

The University of Miami topped the leaderboard at 27-under-par with team rounds of 278-278-281–837. Oklahoma maintained their second place spot at 17-under-par, with South Florida in third at 11-under-par. 

Lilly DeNunzio, who participated as an individual, tied for 26th at one-over-par after rounds of 73-73-71–217. DeNunzio’s 54-hole score featured seven birdies. 

Lily McCauley (75-74-70–219) and Lila Galeai (73-72-74–219) each tied for 35th at three-over-par. MJ Barragan carded rounds of 76-71-76–223 to go seven-over-par for the tournament. 

Adeline Anderson (73-74-78–225) and Sunbin Seo (78-72-75–225) each tied for 54th at nine-over-par to round out the scores for the Cougars. 

At the conclusion of the fall portion of the schedule, the Cougars now have three months off before they head to the FAU Paradise Invitational at Osprey Point Golf Course on Feb. 5-6.
