Benson, Ramanis, Browne and Taylor bring home 2024 All-MPSF honors

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced its 2024 awards Tuesday afternoon, with Luke Benson named to the All-MPSF First Team, Miks Ramanis on the All-MPSF Second Team, Kupono Browne on the All-MPSF Second Team and Teon Taylor with an Honorable Mention.

PROVO, Utah — The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced its 2024 awards Tuesday afternoon, with Luke Benson named to the All-MPSF First Team, Miks Ramanis on the All-MPSF Second Team, Kupono Browne on the All-MPSF Second Team and Teon Taylor with an Honorable Mention.

In conference play, Benson led all players with 155 kills, averaging 3.37 kills per set through 12 matches played. The junior also totaled 37 digs, 19 blocks and five aces throughout conference competition. He won MPSF Offensive Player of the Week twice this year, on January 8 and March 25. This is Benson's first all-conference selection from the MPSF of his career.

Ramanis finished conference play with 137 kills, 72 digs, 25 blocks and 12 aces. This is Ramanis' third recognition from the MPSF as he was named to the 2022 All-MPSF Freshman Team and 2023 All-MPSF First Team.

Browne led the MPSF in service aces during conference play with a total of 21 aces through 12 matches played. The senior also totaled 148 kills, the third-most, 69 digs and 29 blocks. This is Browne's first all-conference selection.

Taylor's .543 hitting percentage during conference play led all players in the MPSF this season. The middle blocker garnered 31 blocks, 60 kills and 17 digs. He won MPSF Defensive Player of the Week this season on January 29. This is Taylor's second MPSF yearly-recognition as he was named to the 2022 All-MPSF Freshman Team.
