Offensive lineman Blake Freeland (Indianapolis, 4th round), quarterback Jaren Hall (Minnesota, 5th round) and wide receiver Puka Nacua (Los Angeles, 5th round) all heard their names called as draft selections in the 2023 class. Freeland played in 16 games as a rookie with the Colts, including nine starts while Hall played in three games, starting two for the Vikings. Nacua became an All-Pro as one of the biggest steals in the draft as the 177th overall pick, setting the NFL rookie-receiving record with 105 receptions and 1,486 yards while starting all 17 games for the Rams.

Suamataia, Slovis and Rehkow were all invited to this year's NFL Combine and 11 former Cougars, including Rehkow, participated in Big 12 Pro Day in March. Other NFL prospects from the 2023 roster include running backs Aidan Robbins and Deion Smith, tight end Isaac Rex, offensive lineman Paul Maile, defensive linemen Atunaisa Mahe and Jackson Cravens, linebackers Max Tooley and AJ Vongphachanh along with cornerbacks Kamden Garrett and Eddie Heckard.
