BYU football will participate in a Fan Fest and devotional in Dallas this weekend as part of three scheduled BYU Athletics fan events taking place this spring and summer.
Free to the public, Fan Fest Dallas will be conducted at Josey Ranch Athletic Complex in Carrollton, Texas (1440 Keller Springs Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006) on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. BYU head coach Kalani Sitake, defensive coordinator Jay Hill and BYU football players will be on hand to meet fans during the event. Coach Sitake and several players will also speak at a multi-stake devotional on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT (select the links and information below for further details).
Fans not able to attend Fan Fest Dallas will have the chance to follow the event and watch interviews with BYU coaches and players on BYUtv. A special one-hour Saturday episode of BYU Sports Nation will be broadcast live on site at the Fan Fest from Josey Ranch Athletic Complex at 11 a.m. CT/10 a.m. MT.
In addition to this weekend's festivities in Dallas, fan events with BYU coaches and athletes are also scheduled to take place in Arizona in May and in Utah in August. Fan Fest Gilbert will take place on May 18 at Gilbert Regional Park in Gilbert, Arizona, while the annual Cougar Kickoff will be conducted on the SAB practice fields in Provo on Aug. 14.
BYU Fan Fest events are a tradition that began in 2013 to give Cougar fans in other communities the opportunity to meet and interact with BYU student-athletes. This year Cougar fans in the Dallas and Phoenix areas will have the chance to get to know BYU athletes at the Fan Fests in advance of the football team returning this fall to play SMU in Dallas on Sept. 6 and face former Western Athletic Conference foe Arizona State in Tempe on Nov. 23.
