Women’s golf heads to Florida to open spring campaign

BYU women’s golf travels to Osprey Point Golf Course to compete in the FAU Paradise Invitational to open the 2023-24 spring campaign.

BOCA RATON, Florida – BYU women’s golf heads to Osprey Point Golf Course to compete in the FAU Paradise Invitational to open the 2023-24 spring campaign. 

“The girls have been working hard this off-season,” said BYU head coach Carrie Roberts. “We are excited to play and looking forward to testing the things we’ve worked on. Florida feels amazing in February, so we are excited to compete in some warmer weather.” 

Lila Galei, Andeline Wach, María José Barragán, Alexa Udom, and Lily McCauley will be competing for the Cougars, with Berlin Long playing as an individual. 

The two-day tournament will begin on Monday, Feb. 5, and conclude on Tuesday after 54 holes of golf. The field consists of 12 teams; the tournament host Florida Atlantic, East Carolina, Vanderbilt, Denver, UTSA, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Iowa, Rutgers, Florida International and Indiana.
