Summary
A 6-foot-9 forward/center, Gavin MacGregor provided defensive toughness in the post off the bench for the Cougars as a walk-on in 2006-07, appearing in 11 games. He gives BYU added depth and size in the post and is a shot-blocking presence inside. Prior to making his Cougar debut in 2006-07, he last played at Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, Calif., in 2002, where he achieved career highs of 25 points, 26 rebounds and nine blocked shots. He served a Church two-year mission from 2003-2005.
