- Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Salt Lake City South, Utah mission

- "I was taught by missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a few years ago, and they inspired me to come to BYU."
Before BYU
- Had a scholarship to play soccer for Washington State, did not play in any games before transferring
- Graduated from Santiago High School where she was one of the top youth goalkeepers in the country
- Earned First Team All-CIF, All-Area and All-League
- Led her high school team to a 20-2-6 record, extending the teams unbeaten run in league to 71 games
- Played for the So Cal Blues club team
