Parents are Chales and Glynn...one of the most sought-after players in Texas...recruited by Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Stanford...married to the former Stacy Reagan...majoring in advertising.

Before BYU

Lettered three times in football and once in track at Eastwood High...twice earned all-district, all-city and all-area honors at both offensive and defensive tackle positions...team won city championship...coached by Todd Ware (Texas Western).

1984 | Freshman Year

Traveled with the varsity...saw quite a bit of action, especially in goal line situations.

1985 | Sophomore Year

Played a lot as a backup...had 11 unassisted tackles and two fumble recoveries...hurried the quarterback 5 times and had 1.5 sacks.

1986 | Junior Year

Second team All-WAC...started every game at nose guard...was defensive lineman of the game against Utah State, New Mexico and UTEP...Wilson Diamond Player of the Game vs. Utah State...injuries against Utah State, Washington and UTEP forced him to leave those games early.
