Before BYU

Selected to Arizona All-Star Team...named MVP of the state championship game...was a three-sport letterman, competing in football, basketball and baseball.

Played two years at Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Ariz...named all-conference and all-league...participated in the Junior College All-American Bowl.

1999 | Junior Year

Participated in spring drills...played in six games...started in games against California, New Mexico and UNLV...recorded 19 tackles on the season including 13 unassisted and six assisted...had four tackles for a loss of 10 yards on the season including three tackles for a loss of eight yards versus California deflected a pass and nearly scored a touchdown on a 52 yard interception return against UNLV en route to winning the coaches' award for being named top defensive back.
