- Had a career batting average of .303 and a .404 on base percentage
- Was league offensive MVP, all-league on defense and All-CIF offense as a senior in football
- Was all-league both on offense and defense in football as a junior
- Played in Dodger Stadium as a freshman for the CIF championships
- Recruited by UCLA and UC-Irvine
