His father, Henry D. Marsh, was a five-time All-American at BYU as well as a four-time Olympian in the steeplechase. He held the American record four times and was ranked No. 1 in the world in 1981, 1982, and 1985 in the event
Henry's sister, Lauren, is a cheerleader for BYU
