Career Summary
Allie Hancock Schneemann from Gilbert, Arizona, played in 129 games at both first base and in the outfield. Allie is ranked among the strongest defensive players in program history with a .989 career fielding percentage. She finished her senior season ranked No. 1 at BYU in career fielding percentage (min 350 chances). Her knowledge and understanding of the game and running the BYU defense is unmatched at BYU. During her junior season, Hancock opened up the season with a two-run homer against Stanford and solo bombs against Hawai’i and Saint Mary’s. She was named to the WCC Commissioner’s Bronze Honor Roll in 2018. In the first game of her senior campaign, she blasted one over the fence against No. 9 South Carolina. Against San Diego, Hancock nailed a ball to the left field fence to tally her second career triple to open up the game for the Cougars and eventually give BYU an insurmountable lead. She finished her career ranked No. 7 in hit by pitches with 14.
