- Earned Distinguished Academic All-American status in track and cross country while running for Utah Valley State College
- Named UVSC's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2000
- Recognized as the 2000 NJCAA Betty Jo Graber Female Student Athlete of the Year
- Named to the first team all-region twice in cross country
- Earned All-America status in cross country her freshman and sophomore years
- Five-time region champion in track
- Five-time JC All-American in track (National Champion in the 3,000m)
- Named Outstanding Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year and Outstanding Female Track Athlete of the Year
- Recognized as UVSC's Outstanding Female Athlete of the year in 1998 and 2000
