• Has six siblings
• Valedictorian at Plains High School
• Serves on BYU's Student Athlete Advisory Committee
• Sister, Leah, competed as a thrower for BYU track and field (2017-22)
• Father, David, played baseball at Eastern Oregon
• Brothers played basketball at Bellevue (Brandon), Montana Western (Mitchell) and Montana Tech (Trent)
• Also recruited by Montana, Montana State, North Dakota State, Montana Tech and Carroll College 
• A wildland firefighter

Before BYU 

• Senior class (2018) valedictorian 
• All-state selections for volleyball, basketball and track. Also played softball in high school
• Won back-to-back MHSA Class C state titles in the shot put throw (2017-2018)
• 2017 MHSA Class C state champion in the discus throw
